TOPEKA, Kan. (July 8, 2026) — Topeka ER & Hospital will celebrate its sixth anniversary of providing emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care with a family-friendly community event on Saturday, July 11, at the Topeka Zoo from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Topeka ER & Hospital is providing free admission for the first 500 guests who enter the Topeka Zoo as a thank you to the community for its support over the past six years.
“We’re celebrating our sixth year of service by hosting an event everyone can enjoy with their whole family,” said Jared Schreiner, MD, Chief Medical Officer at Topeka ER & Hospital. “We’ve cared for more than 37,000 patients and want to thank the community for choosing our hospital for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care needs.”
Attendees will have the chance to enter the 94.5 Country Winning Weekend ticket giveaway for the Thomas Rhett concert. Guests can also register to win a behind-the-scenes animal exhibit experience and passes to the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center, courtesy of Topeka ER & Hospital. Families can also enjoy the larger-than-life Washed Ashore art sculptures on display at the Topeka Zoo.
